PADMC Pittsburgh Fall Tech Session
Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania

The PADMC Pittsburgh Fall Tech Session will be held on Saturday, August 28th, 2010 starting at 9:00 AM. This is an excellent to opportunity to socialize and get any needed work done on your car.

We're easy to find -- just minutes from the intersection of I-79 and the PA Turnpike (I-76) in Cranberry Township , PA . We hope to see all the great people we've met at the previous tech sessions, and hopefully a few new faces too! If your car is not ready to drive then just come and visit, we'd love to see you! If you'd like to start the weekend early, please join us on Friday evening for the Wexford Starlite Cruise -- one of the largest weekly car cruises in the country, with around 1000+ cars attending each week. It's only a 5 minute drive from the main strip in Cranberry. (See StarliteCarCruise for details.)

On Saturday, we'll start off at 9 AM. (Coffee and pastries to open your eyes :-). Snacks along with beverages (including beer) will be served during the day. Around 1:00 PM we'll have a cookout for lunch, and a dinner cookout around 5:30 PM.

At sunset, we'll have our very own REAL Drive-In on a huge 18' outdoor screen, with vintage drive-in clips and a complete concession stand.

Please e-mail us to confirm your attendance, and perhaps a list of work you'd like some help with. Significant others/children are welcome and encouraged. (The Cranberry Water Park , about 1 mile away, is a favorite with the kids!)

Please let us know if you plan to attend as early as possible, it makes it so much easier to plan when we have a good count.

Camp DeLorean

As usual we will have our big meal Saturday evening which we will (with the help of others) provide. Friday night’s dinner will be a pot luck. We will furnish the ingredients for the so’mores and roasting marshmallows both nights. John Stiefel will furnish the best firewood there is.

Saturday’s activities will in include the tours of the area, led by Cheryl and Kathy. Also, I will stay at the campground all day Saturday so we can have an all day work/tech session for anybody who desires. Please limit the jobs to minor things like frame swaps etc.? Everybody needs to let me know ahead of time if any special parts or tools are needed. Charles (Camp Sandusky's owner) has said that we can move the tables out of the meeting area so that we can work on cars in there. We stayed there a few weeks ago. Charles continues to add things to do.

1. From Dayton or I-75, drive west on I-70 to OH Route 503 / Lewisburg, exit #14
2. Turn right and drive north on OH Route 503, through Lewisburg to 2nd traffic light at US Route 40 / National Road
3. Turn left at the traffic light and drive west on US Route 40 approximately 1 mile to Shields Road (watch for the Haunted Cave & Historic Mine Tours sign)
4. Turn right and go north on Shields Road, drive .5 mile to Swishers Mill Road
5. Turn right on Swishers Mill Road and drive east .2 mile. Entrance to the Haunted Cave is on the right

Thursdays Winter Warehouse Tech Sessions

Once the weather turns and it gets dark real early we tend to get together on Thursday nights in the winter excluding holiday weekdays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. at the warehouse.
